Alginate Molding Powder Material for Casting
1lb of superior quality alginate molding powder.
Included: 1 lb (454g) foil bag of our superior quality chromatic alginate.
Basic mixing directions are included on the bags.
A dust free, color changing formula turns white when it is ready for molding.
Fast set: 2-3 minutes (depending on water temperature using suggested mixing ratio).

Instructions for use:
Mixing ratio
20ml of water : 10g (0.35oz) of powder.
First measure water with the enclosed measuring scoop and pour it into the
mixing bowl. Shake alginate powder well before use!
Then dose the powder
with the enclosed measuring scoop without compression into the mixing
bowl.
Mix water and powder thoroughly with a plastic spatula along the
mixing bowl walls.
Mixing time:
30 seconds.
Working time:
2 minutes at 23°C (73°F) (including mixing time).
Setting time:
2,5 minutes at 23°C (73°F) (including mixing time).
Disposal of waste:
The empty package and unused material can be disposed of together with ordinary waste produced at the worksite.
Storage:
Store in a dry and dark place at 5°C to 25°C, in a well-sealed container.
Note:
For the preparation of the alginate impression material distilled or
demineralized water at 23°C is recommended. At higher temperatures and
water hardness the working time and the setting time is reduced.
