Description

Decolite is my custom drum brand using vintage hardware from the traps
and swing eras. I aim to make fully giggable drums using the best parts
of vintage drum engineering. Each kit is one of a kind.
This one is 9×13/16×16/14×20. Floor tom and bass drum are Keller 6-ply cylinder
shells, with solid maple rerings installed on the floor tom. Rack tom shell is some sort of vintage new old stock shell of unknown origin, 3-ply with
solid maple rerings. It has a 60s Ludwig-style “hump” in its shape, but is not a Ludwig shell.
All drums were fresh
drilled for this project, no extra holes anywhere. Red and gold fade
finish with paint and lacquer, nickel hardware is mostly vintage Ludwig & Ludwig from the traps and swing eras. Rim clips are new
repros, tom legs and spur rods are stainless. Bearing edges are gentle and smooth roundovers in a Radio King style.
Condition is basically new but with wear on most of the hardware of course. There is one small nick on the rack tom.
